We play pickleball for a one hour session every Friday at 12 noon, using the official USA Pickleball rules and the Rally scoring system.

We welcome beginners, experienced players and everyone in between!

U3A Derby also have groups that meet weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays.

There are now national and international pickleball competitions held all over the UK now and Team England won the European Pickleball Championships in November 2024.

Important: Non u3a Derby members are welcome to attend a session as 'guests' to try out Pickleball, but should they wish to attend on a regular basis, they will be required to become members of the Derby u3a. Click here for joining information. To cover the cost of venue booking, as per all Derby u3a groups, there is a charge of £2 per player, per session attended.
