Derby u3a has 50+ interest groups covering a wide range of activities. The list below may be arranged alphabetically, by category, by day or by venue. Most groups make a £2 charge for room hire costs. Scroll down to find a list of all the groups we organise.

If you would like to join a group, contact the group organiser - click on the group email link on the group's page (i.e - the underlined blue group link which opens up a fillable form - fill this in then press Send).

Prospective members
If you would like to try out a group before deciding whether to join, you can attend up to two Monthly Meetings and two group meetings (either two visits to one group, or one visit to each of two different groups). Usual attendance fees will apply (mostly £2 per session).

Our venues
We meet in a variety of places, depending on the type of group. Clicking on a group will show the venue at which that group meets. Group organisers will be able to tell you how to get there, but you can find detailed instructions about our main venues here. These are Central United Reformed Church, Friends Meeting House, Chester Green Community Centre, St Mary's Church Hall and Springwood Leisure Centre.

If you would like to start a new group or would be interested in being part of a group that isn't included in our activities, contact the Groups Coordinator who will help you to start or be part of a new group.

If Derby u3a doesn't have a subject group that you are particularly interested in, we have Reciprocal Arrangements with a number of local u3as who may allow you to attend their groups.
