We are a group who enjoy the challenge drawing and painting from life. The organiser, Barbara, is a trained artist and teacher and gives help to anyone new who is doing it for the first time, no previous experience is necessary, just the desire to have a go.
We meet once a month in the Derby museums in winter.
In the summer we sketch in the city centre and sometimes have a second monthly meeting in another outside location.
We always enjoy a sociable tea or coffee afterwards and discuss what we’ve done .
