We have a meeting of general interest on the last Thursday of each month, except November and December. There is a visiting speaker on a range of topics. You can see details of meetings which are coming up on the Table of Events below. You are welcome to attend two of these meetings as a visitor to get a feel for what Derby u3a has to offer. You'll be given a warm welcome by our Meeters and Greeters.

We organise regular outings by coach throughout the spring, autumn and summer months. Recently we have visited Coughton Court, Bletchley Park and Oxford. A charge is made to cover coach hire and entrance fees, but costs are kept as low as possible. However, due to their popularity, the dates and venues are advertised only to paid-up members via our monthly newsletter and on the Members Only page.
Some of our groups organise outings and events on a regular basis. You can see details on the Table of Events above.
Our groups meet at various locations across Derby, depending on the nature of the group. We do not have our own office or building, so we hire rooms from other organisations. Click here for directions to our main meeting places: St Mary's Church Hall, Central United Reformed Church, Friends Meeting House, Chester Green Community Centre and Springwood Sports Centre.
If you would like to try out a group or attend a Monthly Meeting before deciding whether to join, you can attend up to two Monthly Meetings and two group meetings (either two visits to one group, or one visit to each of two different groups). Usual attendance fees will apply (mostly £2 per session).
