The Wednesday Wanderers is the name of a medium length walking group. Walks will be about 4 to 6 miles in length over medium terrain and fairly local. They will start at 10.00 and be for a maximum of 3 hours. Walks will not be too strenuous with regards to steep hills and stiles. The availability of toilets and refreshments will be considered when walks are planned.

4th March Dale Abbey to Locko Park lake

18th March Bennerley Viaduct and Erewash Canal 5 Miles

1 April Carsington Reservoir Sheepwash car park to Dam 6 miles

15 April River Trent from Trent Lock to Spring Lakes 5 - 6 miles

29 April Bluebell Walk at Calke Estate

13 May Walk from Hazelwood to Chevin Hill and Farnah Green 5 miles

27 May Walk around Staunton Harold through woodland and nature reserve 4.25 miles

10 June Circular walk around Osmaston

24 June Walk in the environs around Strelley, Cossall and Nottingham Canal
