The group has the primary aim of discussing issues of architectural interest and analysing local built environments 

The group's meeting in February, 2026 will be on Thursday 19th at C.U.R.C starting as usual at 1.30 pm.

The topic will be "Derby Architects in the past and examples of their work".

After standing empty and vandalised for over fifty years, the station was brought back to life with renovation and repairs completed in 2025. The platform has been removed but the atmosphere of this unique remnant of the Midland Railway's architectural style has been retained. it is now a community asset, cafe and small business unit.
